Here & Now is the latest release from Taylor Steele and Nathan Myers, and it looks like it's going to be one of the stronger surf films of the year. Shot on one single day, it follows surfers all around the world as they ride waves on their home coasts or out in the field.
There's a Canadian angle to Here & Now as well—building on their success in Steele's Innersection releases, Tofino locals Peter Devries and Jeremy Koreski have a section in the film, with Devries taking a place alongside surfers like Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, Rob Machado, Dave Rastovich and Alex Knost.
The real star of Here & Now, though, looks to be the ocean—it's going to be fascinating to see the range of wave-riding experiences that our watery planet was offering up over the course of 24 hours. Apparently both the South Pacific and the Canadian West Coast were firing.
Here & Now will premiere on June 20th, which also happens to be International Surfing Day.
