April usually means the end of the winter surf season, which for most of us is sort of a drag. Warm weather is great and all, but from here on out, the overhead days get fewer and farther between. On the other hand, the good side of April is that it brings a brand-new issue of SBC Surf. If you haven't seen a copy of our Spring 2012 edition yet, you can cruise down to your local surf shop, bookstore or newsstand to pick one up.
The cover is Peter Devries by Jeremy Koreski, and here's some of what you'll find inside:
—a winter trip to Ireland;
—a report from the Rip Curl Pro Search in San Francisco;
—Hanna Scott on the Queen of the Peak and the girl's surf scene in Tofino;
—Mike Janz on surfing alone;
—a Go File from Tahiti;
—a grom's eye view of Haida Gwaii;
—a cross-Canada surfing road trip;
—a chance to win gear from Quiksilver and Oakley;
—the best photos from the winter surf season in Canada;
—and plenty more.

We'll be back with our Summer 2012 issue in a few months.
